Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Reddish amber colour with mediumsized off-white fluffy head. Aroma is wood, fruits, some slight herbal tones as well as a bit earthcellary notes. Flavour sweet malts, some earthyness as well as wooden notes. Also some rather sweet raisiny/figgylike notes.

bottle. Clear chestnut colour, mid-sized beige head. Malty, slightly fruity with some shy hop flavours. Hints of bread and vegetables.

Bottle. Caramel malt and light metallic aroma. Dark copper color with large head. Lightly sweet malt and bitter metallic flavor. Not very good.

clear amber, small white head. sweet malty, caramelly, but not overly sweet aroma. flavor is dry, nutty, malty, nicely balanced with a little hops. ends bitter. pretty tight, nice.

Clear amber with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of cardboard. Flavour had roasted malt, bread, caramel, cardboard and grassy hops. Finished bitter.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and slight grassy hops fruity. Dry and malty flavoured - lingering roasted. Light bitterness in addition to this.

Tap. Caramel malt and tart cherry aroma. Clear copper color with large head. Light caramel malt flavor - pretty light. Nice, easy drinking beer but could use more flavor.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Unclear hazy medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to light moderate malty, hay, light hoppy, dry grass, light light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091104]

24th May 2008. Dark brown clear beer. Dark malt dominates but it’s smooth. Typical alt-ish bitter finish. Okay but a bit one dimensional.
