33 cl bottle thanks to Reza! (Not on ratebeer).BB 31/12/2013, sampled on Agust 31, 2013.Black color, big light brown head. Sweet, toffee, some alcohol, grainy, hints of breathmints, caramel scent. Sweet, alcohol, toffee, a bit nutt taste, some liqourice. Nutty, slight roasted, caramel aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Also hints of liqourice in the scent when really looking for it.In a way rather indistinct, mellow, doesn’t fill the room, sits quietly in the corner, still a big beer, just sort of hard to describe. My head feels it fairly fast though, so the alcohol is there for sure.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks troubles. Almost clear golden. Aroma of grains, caramel, honey, cardboard and a bit of fruits. Sweetish fruity flavor with a bit of spicy notes. Light to medium-bodied.

Bottle in Genoa, purchased from Enoteca Squillari. Hazy amber beer with fine particulates floating suspended! Frothy cream coloured head. A bit of a gusher. Light dry palate, mild carbonation.. Mild malt half balanced by some tired tasting orange marmalade. Finishes dry with some fresher orange and more malt. Overall a bit tired and dry.

Bottle in Genoa purchased from Enoteca Squillari. Light haze on this amber beer, tidy pale tan head. A mild gusher! Possibly mildly infected. Rich malt but not at all heavy. Caramel with a little coca cola. Dry finish with mild minerals. Good try but not quite hitting the mark yet.

Bottle in Genoa purchased from Enoteca Squillari. Hazy amber beer, big off white head. Light dry palate, a little soft but with fine carbonation. Sweet caramel malt and minerals. Trace of dried fruit. A little chocolate powder before the dry finish. A bit clunky.

Cloudy orange color; fizzy, with a small sized frothy head, short lived. Aroma of grass, light aroma of hop, and a lot of yeast. The body is very thin, and there is a quite aggressive yeasty astringency, while the strong bitterness has a metallic accent; overall I think of a beer brewed with malt extracts and powdered hop. Flawed.
