pours copper/orange, white head. Aroma of cherry juice, light caramel and malts. Flavor, sparkly mouthfeel with fruits that reminds me of cherry juice, light hints of sweetness along the lines of a wine cooler. Some hints of malts with some lingering bitter fruits in the finish.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark chestnut color with a medium sized dark tan head. The aroma was woody, nutty and lightly roasty. The flavor was tangy, roasty and woody with a light nutty undertone and a touch of smoke. The finish was long nutty and woody. Medium body. Solid.

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 8/30/09

Aroma: Faint grass hops, light biscuit malts
Appearance: Mildly hazy orange-amber color
Flavor: Mild hops, mild malts, decent taste, bit of grain, bit of spice, just a little boring
Palate: A touch thin/watery, light body decent mouthfeel, borderline 2/3
Overall Impression: This beer is alright, there just ain't a whole lot going on here. It's drinkable, non-offensive, and just a little on the boring side. Where's the flavor? Eh, not rushing out for this one again.

bottle - Pours lightly cloudy copper with a one finger white head. It has a fairly mild citrus hop aroma. The flavor is a pretty solid balance of caramel malt and hops bitterness. There’s a touch of floral and citrus in there. There are better IPAs out there, but this one is still a pleasant quaff. Underrated, in my opinion...

It pours clear copper with thin tan head. The aroma is a mix of malts, caramel, roasted malts and then rounded out by faint pine and grapefruit hops. The taste is oddly similar with malts, roasted malts and some crystal like malts mixing with faint caramel, pine hops, grapefruit hops and a moment or two of floral hops.
