pours ruby - orange with tan head. Aroma does carry the boozy feel of the beer with notes of dark fruits giving it a sweet almost honey aroma. Taste, caramel malts with abv well present. Some dark fruits as fig, cherry. Finish is syrupy and grainy with light spices and the dark fruits that linger on the palate.

pours orange, white head. Aroma herbal and hoppy with a nice caramel malt nose with sweet almost nutty presence. Taste hoppy, fruity and herbal with light caramel. I enjoyed the actual aroma of the beer a lot more than the palate.

Courtesy of kiefdog and fishingnet. Pours brilliant dark copper with gold edges and thin tan head. The aroma pushes up notes of musty dark fruit and some sweet malts and not too much else. The taste has levels of roasty malts as well as sweet malts moving into dark fruity esters. It gets fully sweet as the finish approaches with sweet malts, sweet raisins, prunes, figs and apricots. Very little sense of the big ABV.

Served in a tumbler glass on tap at the Oldsmar Tap House. Pours copper with thin off white head. The mild aroma has a background of malty sweetness with some near tart grapefruit hops running up into the front of the experience. The taste begins with tart grapefruit hops that move into sweeter tangelo and orange wedges. By midway the sweet malty backbone rises up for a moment or two and then fades among suitable levels of grapefruit and tangelo hops. Nice IPA.

A golden IPA with a thin white head. A light floral aroma with a light pinhey notes. In mouth, a dry crisp nondescript IPA with British hops. Medium bodied, a bit too mineral. Flour City brewfest, August 15 2008.

Draft @ Belmont St. Portland, OR. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy aroma with some citrus hints. Sweetish malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours a darkish orange amber color with an ok white head. Excellent floral aroma over some caramel. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is rather fruity and floral, with light biting spice, and some astringency. Finish is astringent, though not all that bitter. It’s a really tasty ale, badly underrated, and quite floral in the end. Hooah!
