Sample at AleFest Dayton: This brew is an orange-amber color with a medium-thin off-white head and a thin sheet of lacing. Medium body with a rather plain-Jane flavor of caramel malt and hops. The finish is actually pretty nice with hops and fruit, and there is a malty aftertaste. Kind of a letdown overall though.

Sample at AleFest Dayton: This beer is a cloudy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that has good retention. The aroma is lightly hoppy with a pinch of citrus and spice. Light-bodied and bubbly with light hops and sweet spice flavor. The finish is short and mildly bitter. Pretty straightforward, but a nice enough drink.

Sample at AleFest Dayton: Clear amber color with a medium foamy light beige head. Spotty lacing. Equal parts hops and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied and clean on the tongue with mild malt and hops flavors. Some fruit is present too. The different flavors don’t really click and nothing really stands out though. The finish is short and malty. Average overall.

Sampled on draft at the State College beer festival this beer poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is yeasty and buttery with a hint of citrus. The flavor is butter with light citrus and a hint of yeastiness.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark black color with a large brown head. The aroma is strong roasty malts with a hint of dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is moderately thick. The flavor is strong with floral hops that burst on to the tongue followed by a fairly subdued roasty malt element and a moderately sweet finish.

This beer really failed to impress me. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale golden color with a large white head. The aroma is sour and lightly lemony with an element reminiscent of windex. The flavor is bitter with mild lemon and again a windex like flavor. There is a moderate wheaty undertone.

I have not been overly impressed with the beers from this brewer in the past but this one was rather good. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet and sugary with an undertone of ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet and sugary with light malts and a hint of caramel. There is a hint of an alcohol burn but given the 8.5% this is reasonable.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a hazy caramel-amber color with medium sized foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma is strong caramel and light bitter fruity hops. . The flavor is bitter sour caramel, vague citrus and touches of pine and floral hops. The finish is long, bitter, sour and has lingering fruity hops. Medium body. ok.

Dark beer with a subtle smell. Tastes very bland with a somewhat malty charachter. Not the worst beer i've ever had, but not even close to the best.
