Description
Cervesa Marina (Brewers Brothers sl) was created by the brothers Josep and Kevin Andreu in 2010, this was after several years in the “Homebrewer” movement, in which we experimented with countless recipes.

The factory is located in Blanes (Girona) Portal de la Costa Brava

We have 10 fixed references. In addition, we have special edition beers added to collaborations with other brewers, whether national or international.

In addition, since 2010 we have organized the “Birrasana” Craft Beer Festival in Lloret de Mar, unique in its location by the sea, where you can find the best national and European beers, gastronomy, live music, children’s activities, tastings, pairings, etc.

On tap @ La Cerveteca. This is a deep dark brown one with a nice medium sized light brownish head. Dry roasted aroma with tones of cardboard, chalk and really wet water. That both sounds and smells strange. Sweeter than I thought based on the aroma. Soft roasty with hints of both cardboard and chalk. Light smooth oily on the mouth, near nitro on the bubbles - like that. Dry chocolate. Easy to drink, but nothing special here. 12.08.2014

Bottle 33 cl. Asuming it’s this one, hops are listed as Equinox and Vic Secret. Gushing when opened, and the carbonation and head is extremely lively. Pours golden with a slight haze. Vague malty and yeasty nose. Flowery, but also with an unpleasant, metallic edge. Solid late bitterness. 050716

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to light orange color, huge foamy soapy off-white head. Aroma is lightly malts, somewhat hoppy and a touch of orangepeel. Taste lightly malts, light to moderately hoppy, moderately bitter. Decent body, firm fizzy carbonation. Hmm ok beer apart from the annoying carbonation.

330ml bottle. Barely clear, copper-ish amber colour with average, thick, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Caramel malty aroma with light almond touch, piney and minimally citrusy hoppy overtones, a cautious touch of lemon yoghurt, a minimally dusty yeasty touch, some plum. Taste is minimally soapy, bitter and citrusy hoppy, dusty yeasty interference,a touch of plum, some brandy-like warming alcohol. Uselessly pimped engine unable to turn adrift its souped-up horse power.

A little contaminated. Lots of sour tang that doesn’t have any place in a dry stout. Some light coffee like travlr says but like the undried fruit rather than processed beans. Black pour with good head and lacing. Tap at Churchkey.
