Draft at Churchkey. Pretty close to black color, big tan head, see pic please. Bright pine aroma with burnt coffee. Taste is earthy, almost dank burnt licorice and toasted brownies. Not sure the dankness and the roast come together for me.

Draft at Churchkey. Clear golden yellow color. Aroma of liggt spiced lemon. Taste is herbal bready peppery lemon. Nice. Very easy drinking, a proper abv for a saison.

330ml bottle. Clear chestnut colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Grassy and slightly herbal hoppy, & nuttily malty aroma, a waxy touch of lemongrass, hints of blackberry and corresponding shrubs. Taste is bitter, grassy hoppy, a citrusy touch, hints of lemon, lemongrass, leafy hints of blackberry, nuttily malty background, a chalky touch in the finish.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey for the Ultimate Spain Craft Beer & Cider Tap Takeover event. Hazy orange brown with off-white head. Aromas of malt, floral notes, light citrus. Tastes of malt, lemon and grapefruit citrus, floral notes, bitter hops. Medium body with a dry finish. Decent IPA.

33cl bottle at Monterey Bar, Prenzlauer Berg. Pours dark mahogany with an off-white head. Mild roasty aroma with lots of hops, pine, mild citrus and some fruity notes, hints of chocolate and bitter herbs. Moderate sweet with surprisingly nice flavours more than expected from the low ABV. Tasty, sessionable and pleasantly bitter.

Bottiglia: Very deep amber coloured, presumably hazy, big and persistent beaten-egg-white-like brownish head; sourish-fruity nose, roasted malt well detectable, traces of glue in the background; dry, but not extremely dry bitter-sourish flavour, medium bodied; bitter chocolate in the even drier roasty-sourish finish. O.K., but not too convincing…

Bottle at Gollem. Conceived as an IIPA, but strangely spiced with coriander... Thick, lacing, egg-white, stable head over a warm, deep amberish orange beer with light fizz. Dank and ’tropical’ aroma, mandarin, papaja, soggy white bread, biscuit, pink grapefruit, hemp, caramel, melting butter, gin, something sweaty (some of the hops were perhaps a tad too old?) and indeed a - luckily - very vague whiff of coriander seed as it warms up. Crisp, sweetish fruity onset, marmelade, pineapple, canned peach even along with sourish gooseberry and refreshing citrus notes, softish carbo, ’full’ and smooth caramelly and biscuity malt backbone, long hoppy finish but more aromatic than harshly bittering, very citrusy, mango, tropical flowers, bit spicy and drying but gently so; again the soapy coriander is there, but very subtly so, not even interfering too much with the hop bouquet. Warming, gin-like alcohol in the end, but not astringent. Remarkably drinkable (I would not have guessed this has an ABV of 10%), with a lovely, attractive, accessible aroma and flavor; I cannot wrap my head around the use of coriander unless this is intended as a Belgian IPA, but I have to admit it has been used in a subtle, well-dosed way here, actually adding some extra, soft spiciness without overpowering the hops. In all, a very pleasant, ’juicy’, filling beer.
