170ml draught at Ølhallen. Clear ruby-black body, a bubbly ring to the rim of the surface, scattered lacing. Roasted dark malty smell, mid-sweet, inviting. The taste profile is dominated by mid-sweet dark malts joined by a touch of herbal hops. Smooth malty ending, semi sweet. Clean on the swallow. Pretty good. (Tromsø, 29.01.2026).

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Clear copper coloured body, fair lacing from a tiny off-white head. Plain caramel aroma, lightly roasted. Mixed taste of caramel malts and dried fruits. Rounded malt-driven tail, slightly roasted. Medium bodied. Nice enough. (Tromsø, 29.01.2026).

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Upper part lacing from a diminishing beige head, deep dark brown body. Hints of toffee and nuts on the nose, promising. Moments of bread-like malts and nuts to the taste buds, added by noble hops. Lightly roasted ending. Easy to drink. Pretty decent. (Tromsø, 29.01.2026).

Can from Gulating Christmas calendar. Weak pale ale, discrete malt, quite refreshing hops but unfortunately some vegetables as well.
