Can from Gulating Christmas calendar. Heavy carbonation in this. Soft malt, some kind of fruity, sweet. Low bitterness. A bit thin bodied. Feels more like a blond ale than a lager.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Filmy layer over a deep brown body, upper part lacing on the glass. Roasted aromas of dark caramel. Balanced taste profile of caramel and dried fruits. Malt-driven end with roasted bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice enough. (Tromsø, 09.12.2025).

440 ml can, as Wettre Julekula Barrel Aged 2025, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Beautiful clear mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, oak and aquavit spices, hints of caramel, brown bread and liquorice. Flavour with the same elements, some sweetness but not too much, low bitterness.

AIH205. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet grains, mild milk chocolate, some toffee and a bit floral and wooden sweet tones to it. Flavour is milk chocolate, some toffee, mild sweet grains and a bit artificial sweetener to it. Watery palate.
