(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy golden with a fine, huge head. Extremely potent and full-bodied beer with lots of sweetnes (did they drop the sugar bowl in this?). Some hints of caramel too. Not unpleasant though as things are evened out in a lightly bitter finish. 301196

Bottle. Teaish, clovy aroma. Slightly hazy, yellow colour. Tea/clove flavour, mild aftertaste. High carbonation, too swelling for me.

Undated bottle but the lack of oxidation leads me to believe it is probably post 2003. Shared with Muzzlehatch on 5/21/2005 at the "Crappy Maine beers plus two random Belgians and a Cider" tasting. Smells of green apples and sour almost soapy wheat. Sour/acidic mash grains, some alcohol. Some honeyish malt sweetness. Golden-yellow body, with an off-white head that is initially moderate-sized but recedes fairly rapidly to cover then ring. Light sediment hangs in suspension, and there is ample lacing. Flavor is sweet/sugary, with vanilla, candied oranges, light citrus nuances and umm, more sugar. A mild hops bitterness. Moderate Belgian yeast flavor. Moderate carbonation is natural and lightly lively, with a full body.

(Bottle 25 cl) Light brown with a small off-white head. Fruity, fresh slightly tart notes with a dry and rather hoppy finish. Also some metallic notes in the palate - more akin to for instance Rodenbach. Quenching indeed. 090594

Dark copper color, small brown head. Nose has burned caramel, hops and hints of yeast. Light to medium bodied. Barley, toffee, notes of roasted malts. Dry finish. Sweet tones. Suprisingly a bit similar to Jenlain Ambrée.

Bottled. Hazy orange/pinkish colour, not much head. Aroma of grapefruit. Bitter grapefruit/lemonish flavour with sweet ending. Refreshing, and beats the breezers, smirnoff ice etc off the table any day. Perfect "teeny"-drink .)
