Bottle. GOlden malt, biscuits, crackers, citrus hops with a bit of cat piss. Hops are interesting, citrus, acidic, tropical, a bit pissy, clean malt. Decent.

Slightly hazy color. Very fragerent. Tropical fruit, muscat and hay in the nose. Palate has deep bitterness that covers the tounge but lacks a bit of depth. Not bad

Tap @ Shinshu Osake Mura. Probably a new version of this beer as this one is brewed at their new production brewery for sure. Amber pour, slightly cloudy, minimum foam on top. Fruity tropical and sweet nose and bit of honey, malt body there but balanced with bitterness. Good bitterness in the body, slick with resins, very bitter citrus peels. Bit on the heavier side, chewy and super intense - but delivers well on IPA-ness.

Bottleshare @ Oedo beer festival, Shinagawa Intercity. Pours red orange, some foam on top. Soft berry juice nose, some coffee. Taste has even more of that coffee, berries and lacto coming out later. Coffee beans are kind of strong, there is also some tartness and raspberry. Lacto is not really working that well but I am happy that someone tried to combine this berry lacto thing with coffee - and IPA.

Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo, apparently it's one of their exclusive house brews. Mikkeller x AJB GOLDEN ALE Hyakkendana 4.5% Nice delicate fruity hop bouquet. Light bodied and crisp, the taste is similar with a lemon and light funk plus wheat character. A nice light brew to start the evening but it feels a touch more Session IPA than gold/blond ale... Hazy orange with some foam on tip. Foamy, has some lacings. Pretty good hop nose, bit grassy maybe. Sweet juice character underneath. Taste is a bit raw, not that bitter, juicy but has this appleskin edge to it. Not much but some lemonpeel citrus.

Tap at Synchronicity. Black with a low head. Spicy chocolate nose, earthy, grains. Malty flavor of chocolate and spice, huge graininess and spice, lightly acrid and acidic. Very bitter. A bit messy.

Tap @ Mikkeller Tokyo. Dark brown pour with jus a little brownish foam on top. Dark saison this is. Nose has light roast, some chalk, blackberries and chocolate and cola. More cola in taste, also good roasty fruit character. Bitter cocoa, well balanced and even some saison esters coming out. Tasty beer for sure, difficult to classify as a style but I do like this.

Tap at Komachi’s 4th Anniversary Event. AJB Triple Berry Berliner Weisse 3% It’s a nice purple-pink in color with a thin off-pink head and a lightly sour berry fruit punch aroma. Surprisingly full bodied for 3% and super tart berries with raspberry, raspberry seeds and black currants. Sobtart smd dry but bang on with a touch of jammy sweetness in the finish, maybe even hints of prune juice... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
