On tap at the brewery. Hazy light amber. Aroma is unique- some of those new hops come through nicely- cantaloupe, soft citrus, and it has a clean pale malt. Good.

Tap at the brewery. Amber. Thin head. Aroma is mellow and the taste both biscuity and fruity. Good balance, grapefruit and light tropical fruits.

From a 640ml bottle on 7/2/2016 (shared with Butz. The nose has a some fruit along with a bit of caramel malt. Taste wise, it begins with light caramel malt, followed by sweet citrus and mish mash of hops, featuring a pronounced slightly sour bitterness at the back. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Very solid.

More amber ale than India amber ale. There’s an elegant combination of aromas, including honey, nougat, grapefruit, peach and toast. The peach persists in the mouth, along with grapefruit and honey. A very well balanced, easy drinking amber ale.

Bottle. Amber with an inch of off-white head that lasts and laces well. Aroma has some caramel and bread beneath a mixture of citrus - kumquat, grapefruit, mandarin, herbal lemon. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Quite sweet with a bitter finish that’s off dry. Lots of citrus but it’s not quite as vibrant as hoped. Some berries, mango skin, a little pine. Judicious use of Sorachi Ace. Pretty good.

330ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s, Hurstville. Yellow gold colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of sweet apple, straw, barnyard. Taste is mellow apple, green apple, juicy, woody, vanilla. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, dry slightly sweetish finish. Quite OK.
