(Bottle) Clear reddish brown with good tan head. Very subtle pleasant aroma - hints of toffee and nuts. Great palate, fairly full bodied with creamy smoothness from good carbonation. Taste is malty from start to finish, and whilst it is dominant it isn’t cloying or overwhelming. There’s some nice cherry tartness at the start, and some nuttiness develops in the mid palate. The nuttiness combines with some gentle bitter notes for a pleasant finish. Very drinkable.

Can at Taps Beer Bar Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin tan head and a little broken lace. The aroma is roasty malt, light smoke. The flavour is moderate smoked malt, liqourice with a smooth, slightly watery light chocolate, light dry coffee palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 11C. Deep amber with a modest beige cap. Aroma of toffee and dried fruit, some floral notes. Pretty light bodied, really lacks presence. Sweet toffee, raisins, prunes and grapes. Floral and mildly spicy bitter finish. Empty where it wanted to be grunty.

Draft at CBC 2013 - Copenhagen. Pours clear yellow-gold with a fine, white cream head. Sweet doughy malt nose, some straw. Big sweet flavor with lightly tangy citrus, dough, white grapes. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with mellow alcohol, more doughy pale bread. So so. Not terribly drinkable.

Bottle. Clear amber with an inch of white head. Aroma of kumquats, grapefruit, pine, some peach and mango. Sweet with lots of fruit. Pine builds up a little towards a fairly bitter finish that also dries out a bit. Maybe a little peppery there too. Good but not their most character filled.
