(Can) Clear copper amber with good pale tan head that collapses quickly. Wonderful tropical fruit aroma. Light body with good carbonation. Nice taste that mixes exotic fruit, some peppery spice over a light toffee sweetness. The finish has some slightly harsh bitterness and seems a little thin. Very nice amber ale.

375ml can into schooner glass. Wow! Mad passion fruit/ peach aroma. Smells amazing. Maybe pineapple. Cloudy with minimal head. Tastes more subtle, slight fruity zing. Dry short finish. It’s all up front with this beer. Nose-WHAM! Taste- OK. Finish- oh it’s gone. Really interesting.

Bottle. Clear pale amber with a large white head that lasts well. Clean grapefruity/ pine/ kumquat aroma. Fairly light bodied, highish carbonation - not the usual Goat texture. Not much sweetness, some light bread that’s just support for citrus and pine. Some pepper too. Resinous towards the end with moderate to high bitterness. Fresh and well made but a satrap brew rather than one of local character.

Can at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium coppet amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is woody resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a wood nettle resin, light toothpaste hop bitter light citrus palate and a moderate woody bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Plenty going on and very refreshing.

Look at that lovely dirty brown head, that ruby red body. The aroma is lovely roasted malts with dry biscuits, honey, floral notes and a little hop bitterness. In the mouth it’s really well balanced - the palate is creamy and thick and there’s a really nice hop presence with a toasty aftertaste. You do taste the alcohol a little but that’s a minor criticism - it is 6.6% after all.
