From a 640ml bottle on 15/4/2013. Pours a clearish very light amber with a smallish head (there are some curious yeast flakes floating around in the glass as well). Has a quite nice floral fruity aroma. The flavour features sweet citrus fruit, toffee and caramel malt and a lingering medium bitterness. The body and carbonation are medium also. Just a really solid, enjoyable brew. Agree with others that it comes across as a much an APA as an amber, but who cares about labels when it tastes good?

Pours dark amber with a large head.Fruity hops on the nose with apple, pear and resinous hops alongside some light toasty malt.Hoppy flavours too with big resinous notes alongside a little fruit. More caramel and light toasty notes too.Carbonation could be higher.

Bottle from Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a deep dark mahogany color with a frothy tan head. The aroma is spicy with fruit. The flavour is medium to strong bitter, lots of liqourice, loads of dry spice with earthy peat. A super beer and worth bringing back from KL!

Bottle shared by jmgreenuk @ Jim is John tasting. Opaque pitch black color with a small off - white to beige head. Smell malts, flowers, blossom, slightly perfume. Taste malts, slightly peppers, flowers, a hint of bitter, herbs or spices and just a bit of bitter in the end.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a big white frothy head and broken lace. The aroma is rather malty with citrus notes. The flavour is medium bitter, a little spicy and malty with some floral notes on the palate and long into the aftertaste. A very tasty and refreshing beer. Perfect for a session.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Flowery citrus notes. Moderate bitter powerfull lime flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice.

Tap. Hazy orangeish gold with a very white head. spicy nose with apricot, lemon, flowers. Very light bodied with some grain sweetness, peach and light doughy lemony tang. Some pepper and cloves Not bad, refreshing.
