Loads of bread crumbs, toast and wet socks are pierced by a zesty lemon and sherbet note. The taste is similar, but less malty than on the nose. Oddly, all of the flavour is concentrated down the centre of the tongue - it’s long, but not wide and has a very dry finish with a bubbly palate. I had this one out of a bottle, but prefer it on tap.

Big offwhite head. Clear amber body with strong carbonation. Fruity metallic toffee aroma with perfumy earthy raisiny notes. Unusual aroma. Dry-sweet vinous pineapple taste with earthy resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish burnt caramel and resin aftertaste with tropical fruit and gooseberry notes. Interesting and drinkable. Quite refreshing, too. (0.75l bottle, Systembolaget, Nordstan, Göteborg.)

Pours dark brown with a large, lasting head.Nose shows a fair bit of grapefruit and tropical fruit-like hops. Underneath is some roasted malt. Also some resinous notes. Pretty rad!Fairly roasty flavours but still quite approachable (especially for a BIPA!). Lots of hops in there too, providing big tropical fruit flavours. Excellent balance between the hops and roasted malt.Could use a bit more carbonation.Amazing stuff.

This delicious, rascally hoppy amber just made my (late) morning. There’s loads of citrus floral aromas underpinned by a sweet malt flavour. The malt is a little more prominent on tasting but the hops are still lively and lovely. A winner.
