0.355l bottle from Beer Republic. Aroma is yeasty, dried fruity, floral, gummy and dusty. Pours clear golden color with thick creamy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing fruity, yeasty and slightly vinous, following is sweet malty, phenolic and medicinal, mouthfeel is warm but dry, while finish is heavy herbal bitter. Full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Wild and free as a blackbird…

Bottle at Novare, as pictured, 11/8/25.
Prune and black pepper with long, dry, old lead. Not oxidized, somehow. Chocolate, rum, vanilla, no alcohol. Maybe some old hop?
Soft, still, again not oxidized. Not boozey. Lighter bodied but not thin. Good barrel character. Lots of lead and spice. Easygoing and chocolatey with soft bourbon. For 13 years this is in astoundingly good shape.

Very old bottle @ home shared with Laura. Old batch at least over 10 years old. Amber color, the head disappears quickly. Aroma amd flavor are malts, soft raisins, light booze, wood influences. Overall it held up quite well. Very pleasant and well balanced.
