Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter trevirke, karamell, champagnebrus og noe honning. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Brent karamell også i smak. Bitterheten sitter lenge.

Medium white head. Hazy still deep yellow body. Resiny tropical fruit aroma with dusty minty notes. Dryish dusty strawy taste with tropical fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish orangey roasty aftertaste with spicy notes. I can’t taste the juniper in this, but then it’s ice cold. Later, as it warms, green juniper notes appear in the finish. Very clean and fresh, though. (0.33l draft at Håndverkerstuene, Oslo.)

Hazed and a bit pale golden color. A white head that ends up as a layer a bit to soon. Decent intensity in the aroma. Plain pilsner aroma. A bit light body and an average carbonation. Decent balance between sweetness and bitterness. Grainy/malty, faint fruity and herbal hoppy flavor. Nothing wrong with it, but not very inviting either. Like a plain pilsner more or less. I hope that you have not had anything to do with this Kari. Because it is nothing with this beer that reminds me of a wild, competitive, smiling and charming woman. Anyway I let this be my little jubilee ale. Cheers Kari!
