Bottle. A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is more malty than I prefer, caramel and some bread, with dried peach, some pine cones and citrus zest. It's medium to full bodied and lightly carbonated, decently bittered and not too sweet. Citrus zest, pine cones, resin and bready malts in the flavor. Toffee towards the finish. A decent brew but too old school even for me. 241221

Bottle. It's a clear golden colored beer with a small white head. Sweetish, fruity aroma with some diacetyl. Lightly peppery, piney, grassy, with some bread, caramel and hay. It's medium bodied and soft on the palate, gently carbonated and not very bitter. Some diacetyl in the flavor too, mostly fruity though. Some pale malts and bread in the back. Medium length finish which feels lightly alcoholic. A decent Helles, but a bit dull, and I don't need diacetyl in my beers. 241218
