200ml, 6 % abv, draught at Basarene. Close to clear amber-gold body. Filmy layer. Spotty lacing. Mid-dry aroma of citrus. Well hoped taste profile of lemon and orange with subdued malty sweetness. Citrus peels bitterness towards the ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant stuff (Hamar 04.03.2017).

200ml on tap at Basarene. A slight haze to a golden body. White head reduced to a filmy layer. Spotty lacing. Smell of leafy hops. Dried fruity flavours, impact of leafy hops and subdued malty sweetness. Mid-sweet malt fruity finish. A likable, well made saison. Lett tåkete brun med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter sydhavsfrukter og karamell. Lett. Sydhavsfrukter er på plass i smak også, søtlig med lett kort bitterhet.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Unclear yellow/orange body with a medium sized off-white had. Aroma has lots of tropical fruit with mango and passion fruit. Flavor is very refreshing fruity with mango and passion fruit as in aroma, some fruity bitterness and some zest. Medium body and quite strong, mostly fruity aftertaste. Might be closer to a fruit cocktail than beer, but it’s actually tasting very nice. Might have something to do with attending to a ticking nightmare of boring 4,7% beers tonight, but still a refreshing drink it is.

Pours hazy deep golden with a malt, caramel, mango, passion fruit and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long mango, passion fruit and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. An unclear, golden-orange colored beer with a small, white head. The aroma is quite tropical fruity, with orange zest, grapefruit and pale malts. Some yeast notes. It’s medium to full-bodied, with a soft carbonation. Semi-dry. Decent bitterness in the flavor, with tropical fruits, pine cones and grapefruits. Lasting hoppy finish. A decent one, but too much on the yeasty side I think. 170107

Nice creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly fresh grassy, leafs, moss, flowers, fresh hops, lawn, light malts, hay, hop pellets, citrus peel, hints of tropical fruits. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, weeds, leafs, moss, minerals, bark, hops, light malts, citrus peel, sour grass, hay, flowers, soap. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh grassy mouthfeel. Nice aroma.

500ml bottle, #015, bought at Gulating Tromsø. Bubbly pearl white head, rings of lace down the glass, opaque apricot coloured body. Modest smell of mango and herbal hops. Tropical hopped bite to the flavour character, moments of mango and sappy mandarin. Finish off with hints of bitter citrus shells. Soft in the mouth. Nice and promising (Tromsø 06.12.2016).
