Roast and some caramel. Appearance is a little odd - much lighter than the usual black for porters. Beer is pretty solid though otherwise. Bittersweet finish, a touch too much caramel but not a hige detracter. Tap at brewery.

Very nice helles - good way to get the toopaste morning taste from my mouth. Golden pour with ok head. Crisp finish with some light mercury type notes. Tap at brewery.

Copper color with thin head. Aroma of nutmeg or pumpkin pice spice. Slightly sweet caramel malt flavor with pumpkin pie, crisp finish. Excellent pumpkin beer.

Copper color with quickly dissipating foam. Aroma is typical Vienna with a hop, crisp smell. Flavor is a good combination of toasted malt,, sweet toffee with a crisp European hop finish.

Amber color with thick foam. Aroma is slightly sweet and earthy with a hint of banana. Smooth flavor of sweet caramel with a spicy /funkiness. Finishes with some hop bitterness.

On tap at 2nd Story, pours a clear dark reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy hops with a toasted caramel malt base. Flavour is extremely earthy and spicy, with spicy, harsh hops and bready malt. Harsh and improperly balanced. No good.
