[Adding this mead I am not 100% confident about the brewery. I purchased this from Mudgee Honey Haven, which is listed in RB as a place and a brewery. However, from the label it is clearly not the brewer, and someone has previously associated them with Mudgee Brewing Company. I have assumed this is correct. Also, whilst the name says mead, the description lists cinnamon, cloves and ginger. The cinnamon is quite distinct. So I have categorised it as Metheglin.] (Bottle) Pours clear very pale straw with no head. Nice aroma of honey and cinnamon. Light body with nice fine bright carbonation. Taste is clean and simple - honey, cinnamon and some tartness. There’s a little residual sweetness but it’s nicely balanced with tartness. Very nice.

(Bottle) Pours hazy golden with no head. Aroma is cardboard with hints of grass. Light bodied and fizzy. Taste is sour dominating anything else. As this subsides in the finish there’s a hint of biscuit and bitterness. Terrible - I hope mine was off and this isn’t how it is supposed to taste.

(On tap) Clear red with thin white head. Aroma of toffee with notes of red berries. Medium body, smooth, fine carbonation. Great taste with notes of caramel and berries and very little bitterness. Very nice.

(On tap) Black with no head. Dark toffee notes in aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Taste has dark toffee notes some light tartness and some smoky hints. Not very interesting.

(On tap) Black with a thin white head. Subtle pine aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Rather tart with dark toffee notes and nice bitterness in the finish. Good beer.

(On tap) Clear amber with thin white head. Lovely aroma of citrus and pine. Medium body and good carbonation. Tart fruity start. Nice bitterness in the finish. Very nice.

(On tap) Cloudy amber with no head. Pleasant aroma of citrus and pine. Medium body with low carbonation. Good taste with citrus, pine and biscuit malt. There’s a pleasant hop bitterness throughout. Good beer.

(On tap) Black with no head. Aroma has dark toffee and pine. Light body with medium carbonation. Taste is rather thin with notes of dark toffee and some bitterness in finish. Not very interesting.

(On tap) Pale amber. No head. Subtle pleasant toffee aroma. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste has notes of toffee and hints of tea hints. Pleasant, easy drinking.

(On tap) Clear straw. No head. Aroma has notes of banana and a hint of bubblegum. Smooth with medium body and gentle carbonation. Pleasant taste with banana notes and a slightly tart finish. Very nice.
