A nice pale here with a fitting name. Has a crisp side to it. Flavorful enough to separate it from most beers with a summer tag on it. Enjoyed a pint on tap at The Lodge, downtown Seattle. Local brews for the win. Or to cope with the Mariners loss. Either way, it's a pretty good pale. Malty nose with sweet indications. Taste is a malty front as well. Flavorful, some juicy quality sneaking in. This beer really doesn't scream summer to me. I actually double checked with the beer guy to melt sure I got the right beer. Pretty good. Surprisingly malty and warming for a light summer pale.

On tap at Ballard Beer Co, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with piney hops upfront, with crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with pungent piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Piney and crisp. Excellent.

Draft pour at Lucky Envelope. Love the reference, like the beer a lot too. Mostly clean golden pour. A lot of what I would expect from a cucumber brew. Cool and refreshing. Minimal tart going on, but enough to entice the sour head. Good amount of flavor here. Nice cool and refreshing finish. Good stuff.

Draft pour to a tulip at Lucky Envelope. A cloudy golden orange, similar to their anniversary hazy brew. Hazy, but thin. Some melon fruit going on with this. Vanilla and citrus nose. Creamy impression. A sharp hop bite front, but smooths out. Creamy citrus a d melon fruit. Lingering hop finish. A good hazy as an overall. Nothing typical for sure.

Draft pour to a tulip at Lucky Envelope. A cloudy golden orange pour. A thin appearance for the style. Tangy. Juicy orange fruit nose, paired with dank hops, and a strong beer impression. Bitter citrus hops in the flavor. Sharp taste. Plenty of hop bite. Fruit peel like bitterness. A sipper imperial, but certainly not bad.

Bottle thanks to Lizzie and Daren! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of pine and tropical fruits with a touch of onion and grain backing. Flavor combines citrus, tropical fruit and light pine with some grains underlying.

Draft pour pint at Cooper's Alehouse. A clean, clear shiny golden pour. Thin film head. A citrus hop, lime like zest to this on the aroma. Flavor is cool and tropical. Juicy but thin. Lemon lime. A touch herbal. Unique IPA. Touch of orange slice too. Good amount of flavor. Nailed the juicy citrus notes. Good stuff.

Might be the best helles I've ever had outside of Germany. Great stuff. Refreshing, flavorful, and not overpowering on the dank notes.

Draft pour at Lucky Envelope. Out at the brewery tasting the holiday themed beers, but couldn't bring myself to pass on trying the Lucky Envelope Light! Would love to try this blind with the big ones and try to pick it out. Shiny, clean golden pour. This was put on tap for the non craft beer drinker that was dragged here. Soft corn. Softer straw. Annoying finish. It's no different. Maybe about 4% more flavor than the competition. In their defense, they describe it at the brewery as being like the popular mountain named beers. They delivered exactly what they said they were. Can't complain too much about that. Worth the try for sure.
