On tap at the 16 HAF. Pours a orange color. A big sweet coffee and bourbon nose. This sounds crazy, but it works. Big bourbon, sweet coffee, honey, light vanilla and more huge coffee. Great.

Pale straw. Sweet fruits, subtle peach notes, soft sugary sweetness. Effervescent body lifts the sweetness and makes it seem lighter than it is. Refreshing.

Draught at Beveridge Place Pub
Pale color. The aroma is very floral, with a hint of ginger. Light body, lightly sweet, not much mead flavor, with a hot touch and light ginger. Lightly hot in the final, the final is also weak.
Drinkable, but it’s a fake mead.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours a hazy bright red with a small white head. Aroma is a bit artificial, with sweet strawberries. Flavour is quite artificial as well, with light honey and artificial strawberries. Not a big fan of this at all.

On tap at Beveridge Place Pub, pours a clear pale blonde with no head. Aroma reveals a good mix of ginger and lightly sweet honey. Flavour is very low on the sweetness, but still brings out considerable honey character and a big wallop of ginger root. Bone dry finish, with lots of ginger. Solid enough session mead, but could use some more dynamics. Good.

Crowler fill. Faint floral honey aroma. Clear straw gold color with no head. Dry, lightly medicinal, menthol. Carbonated, light body. Doesn’t tast like any mead I’ve ever had. Not bad tasting but it’s missing everything I love about good mead. It’s kind of like a wine cooler.

Draft - Sweet, floral, honey and a touch of plum. Cloudy copper. Sweet honey, plum and light tart notes. Very thin and a bit odd. Sweet, sour and a touch of acidity.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours an opaque deep dark amber orange with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out tart raspberries, honey, and some lacto notes. Flavour is very tart, with light-medium honey sweetness, tart raspberries and a touch of lacto funk. Not wholly convinced by this - it's lacking complexity and mouthfeel. Inoffensive but off the mark.
