Description
Founded by two brothers native to Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Nectar Creek combines a passion for beekeeping, agriculture and brewing into delicious, sessionable meads.

Admin Note: Nectar Creek closed taproom and production facility in 2019, but the brand was acquired by 2 Towns Ciderhouse in 2020 where production is now housed.

Bottle - Sweet honey and floral notes. Pale gold. Sweet, honey light, flowery and watery. Very light and easy drinking.

Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a clear ruby red with a bubbly pinkish head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has an odd dry honey and raspberry combination that comes off a bit plasticy. Flavor has much more sweet raspberry and sweet honey that works a bit better.

Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a clear pale yellow with a slight green hue and a hint of a bubbly head. Flavor has lots of honey with a bit of dryness and a touch of plastic. Flavor has sweet honey and a dry finish that comes off a bit of a plastic.

Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a clear reddish pink with a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has a combination of sweet honey, hibiscus and light flora. Flavor combines slightly tart hibiscus with sweet honey and a bit of dryness.

Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a clear hydrated pee with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a lot of wild flower, with sweet honey and a touch of ginger. Flavor has a light ginger bite with notes of wildflower and sweet honey.

On June 23, 2015. At Beveridge Place Pub in Seattle, Washington.Clear golden pear color, no head, no legs. Ginger, sweet scent. Ginger, sweet, a bit of apple peel tart taste. Ginger aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, semi tart finish.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small tiny head. Aroma brings out metallic notes, light peaches and light wood. Flavour is along the same lines, with faded peaches and light metallic notes. Nothing overly interesting. Okay.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow gold with small white head. The aroma is peach, apple, spice. Thin mouth, honey, apple, peach, light dryness, decent.
