Good cloudy yellow body and nice stable foam, soft unsweetened pineapple on the nose, some breadfruit, musty apricot. Flavour is soft sweetness, mellow grain, easy fruitiness. Slightly wet but still crisp enough. Incredibly well balanced.

Pours a thick muddy peach and good solid foam, looks very syrupy already. Very strong candy hops on the nose, slight floral hints, chewy syrup, it's sort of appetizing but then sort of not. Flavour is all thick vegetal hops, huge bitterness and oiliness, soft biscuit notes linger. Drinkable but borderline overbearing; I'll struggle to finish the can.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour. The aroma is soft, perfumey, citrus fruit, very light dank hop. Lean and almost dry mouthfeel, with some crispy malt and oats base, right as it should be for a modern IPA; the hopping is gentle, with citrus character, a bit piney, moderately bitter, but mostly balanced. Excellent, modern IPA.

2021-01-13, can from the brewery, 7-3-7-4-14=35
A month later, this can seems sweeter and muddier.

2020-12-13, can from the brewery, 8-3-7-4-16=38
Dark blond colour, cloudy to murky, with small head. The aroma is fruity (stone fruit, mango juice) and a bit dank. Full bodied, sweet like juice, not sticky; the malt base is interesting, toffee; bold hopping, with plenty of juice, and some piney resins; correct bitterness.
Very good.

473mL can, pours an opaque, dirty orange with a small white head. Aroma reveals hop burn, muddy yeast, alcohol, and some dirty stone fruit pith. Flavour is dirty and chaotic, with lots of stone fruit pith, hop burn, yeast soup, and alcohol. Chaotic, muddy and not integrated. A mess.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy pale blond colour. Fresh aroma, fruity, a bit tropical, floral. It's dry, on the weak side, with low bitterness level, but it has a delicate, fruity hop touch. Out of season, but pleasant.
