On tap at Powell, pours a red-tinged deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out moderate roast, light coffee and a touch of dry cocoa. Flavour is similar, with plenty of coffee and cocoa notes upfront, along with some toasted malt. Not particularly complex and a bit too sweet, but it works well together.

On tap at Powell, pours a clear golden with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out light floral hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is very laid back, with biscuity malt, toasted bread and light hops. The dry-hopping is very soft. Unexciting.

Hazy tan, no head. Whiff of brett, a touch of sweeter wine, maybe some wheaty gose. Tart, salty, wheaty. There’s a lot of fun things in here but none of it is coming together.

Dark. Molasses with cocoa, sweet, caramel, light toasted malts. A bit too sweet for me. Full bodied. Decent.
