Draught at the brewery
Cloudy golden color with a thick head. The aroma is mild, it has fruity hops: orange, mango, bit of pine. Good body strength, soft and round mouthfeel, very good malt flavor, followed by intense resiny, piney, citrusy hopping, and a pleasantly abrasive final.
Crackery malts, moderate sweetness, juicy hops. Fantastic IPA.

2016-08-12. On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy golden with a huge white head. Aroma is tropical fruits hops. Same character sweet taste and aftertaste but with very low level of bitterness. Good beer, but not enough bitterness even as for an IPA, let alone IIPA... Is this a reason for no IBU on the desk for only this beer at the tasting room? :-)

2017-12-26. Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma is strange with cheesy notes. Similar taste with some floral botes and piney bitterness. Damn, it did not become better.

On tap at Powell Street, pours an opaque cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of juicy tropical fruits, dank resinous hops and bready caramel - smells more like a juicy IPA. Flavour matches this, with truckloads of juicy tropical fruits, loads of resinous hops, and a big caramel malt backbone. Big bodied, with a robust flavour profile balanced beautifully between extreme, juicy hops and a fat caramel malt base. Excellent. The best I've had from Powell Street.

On tap at the brewery. Test batch. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste are sweet with tropical fruits and candied citruses notes. Piney and resin aftertaste. Very good one.

Dark mahogany/brown color, with creamy head. The roasted malt is upfront, followed by the smoke; nice. Good body, strong mouthfeel; the flavor is a bit too roasty and nutty, the smoke is very nice. As said, a bit too roasty when compared to Schlenkerla, but it’s a serious beer.

Golden color, hazy. Strong body, with a good amount of residual sweetness; I like the bread and spice aroma, I like the robust mouthfeel, the golden malt, the bread, the light spicy touch, the alcohol warmth, and the cork aftertaste.
This is a quite true Belgian Saison.

Golden-amber, medium head. Has a light peppery character and the malts are a bit sticky sweet. Needs more hop balance, but otherwise not a bad go.

Medium brown. Aroma has a mellow beech smoke, sweet foremost, light smoky taste, bock base I guess. Sweet finish with a mellow smoke.
