Nice jet black body with no real head. Aroma of sweet barley, sharp in places, but nothing more. Very sharp barley flavour with plenty of bitterness. Slightly watery on the mouth. Not much to write home about here.

On tap at Powell Street, pours jet black with a medium tan head and a slight red tinge. Aroma brings out lots of roasted malt upfront, followed by dry cocoa powder. Flavour is robust, with huge notes of roasted malt upfront, followed by some dark chocolate. Really lovely robustness to this, with a thick, chewy body. Love stouts like this. Excellent.

Draft - Dark roast and nice hoppy notes with chocolate. Jet black with a decent light brown head. Dark chocolate, roasty notes and s nice sweet bitterness. Well done and hops do well here.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Golden orange with off-white head. Aroma of soap and light citrus hops. Taste starts mild lactic sour with some white grape sweetness. Finish is bready and slightly watery, very subtle hops. Light oily texture.

Bouteille 650ml, gracieuseté de Erik-P lors du CanBIF Fall 2015, Thanks Erik! Couleur ambrée foncée translucide, mousse beige fuyante laissant une fine dentelle. Arôme de malt grillé, houblon fruité, terreux, zeste de pamplemousse. Goût de malt grillé, amertume moyenne-faible, houblon résineux, touche d’agrumes, café en arrière-goût. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.

Thanks for hauling the bottle halfway around the world Josh&Sunshine! Golden, low white head. Citric hop notes on a tart hay/barn malt base. Medium full dry/sour body. Lovely lemonny finish. Perfectly matches the Australian tropics, thanks guys!

It’s nice to see hoppy sours popping up. I’m for it. 10 oz pour at the Red Racer. Pours a bright golden with a thin oily head. Wheat strong aroma. Good sour up front, straw like grainy finish, and low bitter hops. Enjoying this beer for sure.

On tap. Pours a light amber with little head. Light aromas and flavors of fruity citrus. I did not get much from the Amarillo. A mild kettle sour.

Draught at the brewery
Brown color, unclear; generous head. The aroma is a bit flowery, fresh; anyway, nothing like expected. Dry, weak and astringent; moderately sour; no fruit.
It’s not aggressive. It’s like water, acid and a dash of caramel.
Very disappointing.
