Amber and bright, the aroma is vaguely fruity with a toasty malt character. More malty than hoppy.

Amber. Mild citra nose, palate balanced with fruity citra and biscuity malts. Mellow APA style.

Draft - Funky feet and light fruity citrus sour notes. Hazy gold with a rich beige head. Light and tart with a weird funkiness that I just can’t place. That yeasty funk is not really appealing to me.

Update May 4/15. 650 ml bottle. Pours gold with moderate head. Aromas of tropical and candied fruit, light coriander and crackers. Flavors of limes, oranges, pine and light dough malts. Very nice. Much better than the original sampling... On tap at 2014 BC beer awards. Pours a clear light gold with little head. Aromas of white pepper, coriander, vegetables and grain. Flavors of celery, coriander, pepper and other vegetable cracker spices. Oddly refreshing especially after sampling several other hoppy IPAs. 8/3/7/3/14

On tap at Powell Street, pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium white head. Nose brings out notes of Belgian yeast, fruity tartness and bready malt. Flavour is very well-balanced, with complex Belgian yeast, low-to-medium tartness, and some juicy fruitiness. Damn, this is complex and well-rounded, with extremely high drinkability. Best beer from the brewery so far. Excellent.

Bottle - Pale malts and earthy hops. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Woody vegative hops, a bit skunky and off with some pale malts. For me this doesn’t work and tastes like fresh grass.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear copper with moderate head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of soap and light doughy malts. Flavors of grassy/floral hops and toast. Nothing mush there.
