Gold, nice head, looks good. Bitter, decent pale malt, maybe a touch of apple but also a blackberry sort of hop note.

Amber-brown, medium head. Soft toffee and good body. Moderate bitterness. Light chocolate accents. This is quality porter, moreish, subtle complexity.

Dark brown, toasty dark malt, soft dark sugar, fairly robust roastiness, cuts through the nitro like a prime St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout. Solid effort.

Golden-brown, medium head. Toasty, caramelly malt character, slight fruitiness, medium bitterness, good malt complexity, a bit of minerally character like they burtonized the water. It’s not perfect - the malt kind of gets weaker in the end - but they’re making an effort.

Slight haze, thin head. Piney accent, medium bitterness, sweet if slightly doughy biscuity malts. Some lemony, marmaladey bitterness.

On tap at Bomber. Pours a clear pale blonde. Apple cores on the nose. Flavour has apple cores, some kins, fairly dry. Meh, not a huge fan of the apple expression here.

On tap at Bomber. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Citrus peels and pith on the nose. Flavour has citrus peels, thin wheat. There's really not much to speak of here.

On tap at Bomber. Pours a slightly hazy blonde with a white head. Strained passionfruit on the nose. Flavour has plenty of stale passionfruit, some wheaty malts. I don't see the appeal.

On tap at Bomber. Pours a murky yellow with a white head. Tropical fruit, crisp pine, and a bit of tang on the nose. Flavour has tropical fruit, crisp pine, some dank oiliness, and a bit of tanginess. Actually pretty solid.

On tap at Bomber. Pours black with a beige head. Dry roast on the nose. Flavour has a dry earthy roast, some dry grass notes. Soft body. More or less what I expected.
