Draught at the brewery
Blond colour, hazy, with compact head. Good malt base, a bit husky, and good hopping, more herbaceous than grassy, with correct bitterness.

2019 edition 10% abv and IBU70. The aroma is sweet boozy caramel, has soft deep copper body and modest foam on top. Flavour is harsh burning plastic and sharp sugary bread. Mouthfeel is reasonably crisp. There are some okay elements but they're drowned by the booziness and it being overhopped.

Smells softly of rancid lemon, has weak murky copper body with soft foam on top. Flavour is soft grain smoothness and some sweetness. The mouthfeel is reasonably smooth cask stuff but seems unclean. This is a mediocre attempt.

The aroma is soft grain and butter, has medium gold body with little foam. Flavour is soft lager hops and some grain sharpness. Mouthfeel is adequate only. It's an okay pils but not exceptionally clean nor interesting.

Muddy copper body, strong malt smell which is nice. Flavour is soft malt with a bit of lemony kick. Medium on the mouth. Adequate attempt at the style.

Smells of soft paint thinner lemon, okay orangey gold body and foam. Flavour is narrow grains and lemony hop with a bit of grainy finish. Okay, drinkable.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a cloudy dark orange, tiny head. Aroma definitely has something wrong with it - whether it's the lines or the beer, I don't know - revealing sulphur, metallic notes, rotting fruit, and a little salt. Flavour is somehow a little less offensive, with juicy mango that does manage to come through, but it's shrouded in this background of sulphur and metallic character. This is seriously off.

Hazy, amber-brown, thin head. A bit thin and tart, sort of yeasty. Mild smokiness, but the malts are actually pretty far off.

nice darker brown body though little foam, soft molasses and yeast on the nose. Flavour is soft yeast and funky malt notes. Very timid for the style.

Nice darker gold body with a bit of foam, okay sweet hops on the nose. Flavour is good hops, decent malt mix. Well balanced though straight ahead.
