16 oz. can, brewed in NM. Pours a clear, orange color, with a big, foamy, beige head. The aroma is resin, roasted corn, orange peel, cardamom, bergamot, and rose. Sweet and malty, with a mild, sticky bitterness. Light to medium body, syrupy, and a bit grainy. Hard, malty, kinda yeasty, and clingy.

medium brown color. No head. Big green apples, oak and cherries in the nose. Very tart, malty, tons of green apples, oak and cherries. Very over the top take on the style, but balanced and well made. Very intense but I liked it a lot.

Pale off-gold and hazy. The foamy, white head is of moderate duration. The aroma is a mix of tangerines, melon, and fruit candy. Taste is bitter with an assertive citric twist at the finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Ok. I would have preferred a black ipa with a name like this!

Sipped outside on a cold, sunny day at the Corrales location. Black with a light brown, creamy head. Oak and bourbon aroma. Taste is bittersweet. Touch of tartness. Faint fudge. Full-bodied, mild carbonation. Lingering bourbon. Not bad.
