Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours pale perry color with a white smear. Aroma of crisp apples with skin. Med body. Dry and crisp. Mildly bitter. Flavor is a mix of red and yellow apple flesh with skin providing some bitter. A little sugar pops up in the finish, but very little.

Awesome. Juicy/tart/tangy peach/black/rasp/blueberry/skin/seed/pit/red/green apple/fruit peel/herbal/pepper/yeast earth. Semidry/semicrisp carb. Lingering acid/tang/tannic drying. No pucker. Refreshing. Great fruit complexity/balance. Loved it.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours rather champagne color with a very transient, slight white head. Aroma is apple - starts like non-alcoholic then develops a hint of alcohol. Or perhaps tartish apple. Med body or nearly. Flavor is mildly tart apple skin. Some sugar. It is kind of like biting into an apple - ignoring the minor issue of alcohol. Decent cider, tho not exciting like a farmhouse cider.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours dark rosé with a few bubbles. Smells like Concord grapes. Jammy. Near medium body. Flavor is Concord grape, but apple is discernible. Barely sweet. Decent drink for summer activities.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours a rosy tinged gold with no real head. Aroma of apple cider with some red berry. Med body or nearly. Flavor is apple cider with definite red berry and maybe a hint of citrus. Maybe. Starts a bit sweet, then some skin astringency makes it seem towards dry. Then the berry makes it seem more towards sweet. Bitter isn’t really in it. Very drinkable. Pleasant.

On tap at Portland Cider, pours a hazy yellow, no head. Aroma is bone dry, with English yeast and toasted biscuity notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with a mega-bone dry apple skins and English yeast. Bone dry and simple. Decent.
