Description
Through the marriage of English traditions and Northwest micro-cidery techniques, Portland Cider Company was established in 2013 by Jeff & Lynda Parrish. Lynda, an expatriate from the Somerset region of England (the Mecca of cider), married Oregon native Jeff, inspiring the English-style ciders crafted from Northwest apples Portland Cider is known for.

Our cider starts with fresh pressed juice from 100% Northwest grown apples. We then carefully ferment it, using yeast that protects the delicate characteristics of the fruit. The results are ciders that are high quality – easy to drink, refreshing, and downright delicious. Drink it, it’s Good!

On tap at Portland Cider, pours a hazy blonde, no head. Aroma brings out crisp pears and lots of skins. Flavour is similar, with lots of crisp pears, really bringing out the dry skins. Lightly acidic and bone dry on the finish. Okay.

Balcony Drink! Portland Cider Hop'rageous 6.8% Honestly I am not getting any hop aroma from this milky light gold colored cider, I mostly get a cork musty funk. Light bodied and semi-dry, the flavor starts off musty cork + apples then a citrus/orange peel with pith hit. You get some candied peach/fruit notes as well. Decent but I prefer my ciders sweeter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
