Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, hay, lemongrass, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, hay, and vitamins, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Sweet malty nose with a discreet whiff of phenols. Light body, rather sweet malt with a light fruitiness. No real hops. But a clean and straight, malty Golden Ale. 110113

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a grassy malt with light honey notes and mineral notes. In mouth, a sweet biscuit malt with light barley sugar, faint hops, barely a cone here, boring blonde ale. On tap at Fresh Hops Fest, Portland, Oct. 6 2012.

On tap at Concordia Ale House, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of dry biscuit / crackery malts and light floral hops. Flavour of dry soapy / floal hops, and crackery / biscuit malts. Quite dry and refreshing. Decent, but nothing special.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours clear dark copper with a 3 finger frothy beige head. Firm aroma of pine. Med body. Very hoppy. Lots of pine with a little citrus and arguably floral. Even a bit earthy. There’s a pretty strong roast malt backbone, but the hops rule. This is really bitter and flavorful. Highly recommended.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma is darkish milk chocolate. Med body. Flavor is very darkish chocolate over a pretty burnt malt backbone. It’s pretty smooth and pretty delicious.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours dishwater gold with a slight creamy white head. Aromas of citrus and rye. Med body, more or less. Flavor is smooth citrus, but then it shifts to something very like rye. Maybe not so spicy as expected, but very refreshing. Put it in a cask. Imperialize it. Or both. This stuff has potential.
