On tap @ the brewery. Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a khaki head. Grapefruit, blood orange, herbal/bushy, floral nose. Pretty high bitterness. Moderately low carbonation. Moderately high sweetness. Bitter, grassy, floral, citrus flavor. A little strong on the finish. Ok.

Tap at the brewery. Low carbonation. Sweet like a tripel, yeast, I pick up some coriander maybe; light spice. Yeast is noticeable. Much sweeter than most Belgian singles.

Hazy gold - minimal lace - nose has the savory/briny notes of a geuze, but also some.lightly sweet notes of peach and tangerine - watery texture and low carbonation make it feel flabby and lifeless in the mouth - flavor is subdued - mild to moderate acidity is fairly quenching - very mild tangerine -subtle funk finishes, along with some notes of soft wheat - finish has very mellow oak - I like the subtly, but the body and texture need work - closest toa berliner weisse in character.

Clear copper pour - pretty simple brew - some clean maltiness, with a touch of toasty richness (perhaps some dashes of Vienna and/or Munich malt) - very mild off notes (a touch of diacetyl) - moderate, earthy hop bitterness on the tail end - simple, but not without merit - a little hot in the finish.

Tap at the brewery - quite tart and lemony compared to the first iteration of this beer - flavor of lemongrass, wheat, innocuous dried character - sadly, also a bit soapy by the finish - finish has a bit of husky wheat - just okay.

Tap at the brewery - dark black pour - fairly thick, dark tan lace - nose of espresso, dried cherries, charred oak, tannins, bakers chocolate - creamy texture, full body - drier than you would expect for the strength, which is just fine by me - the is accentuated by a deep roast and nice black malt bitterness and char - some sweet notes of vanilla and chocolate - touches ofsmoke, raspberry - mild merlot character in the finish - very nicely done.

Tap at the brewery - interesting beer here - the barrel treatment imparts some vanilla, toasted coconut, and very mild merlot character - the orange and mango add an interesting depth, but it’s the herbs/spices that make it the most interesting - they are used with a soft touch, but add an.interesting and spicy bite on the tail end - in the end, though, the adjuncts and treatment are all that you can taste, really, so I just wonder about the base beer - finish of herbs and coconut - it’s decent, interesting.

6.8/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 6
Tap at the brewery - turbid orange - soapy lace - the earthiness of th e rye and english malts is complemented well in the nose by lightly funky, basement and musky pineapplr brett - the body is a bit thin, the texture kind of watery - flavor is dry, but also fairly tangy - a lot of citrus character that the more tropical brett notes work pretty well with - the finish is moderately sour, mildly funky - tangy finish - decent, with a few weak points.
