Tap at the brewery - hazy amber pour with a soapy head - I’m not entirely against "brown saisons," but am always apprehensive about them - this is actually a decent brew, but comes across more like a weizenbock due to the malt flavors (caramel, toffee, pumpernickel), phenolic profile (pepper, clove), and esters (banana) - creamy texture - a bit of bitter grain huskiness on the tail end lessens the enjoyment a little - decent beer, just don’t expect a saison.

Tap at the brewery - hazy gold with a frothy lace - aromas of lemon, clove, strong vitamin B character - fairly creamy texture - tart and semi-dry, with strong flavors of citrus from the NZ hops, an odd choice cor this style - somepenolics of white pepper and sage - notes of rose hips and chamomile - it’s okay.

Tap at the brewery - hazy copper - quite an authentically English IPA here, with crisp, biscuity, and earthy malts providing a base for the goldings hops to shine - a slight mineral bite makes the hops pop even more - a light buttery note late - bitterness is a little much in the finish, but this is still solid.
