355ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Close resemblance to the "White Witch" but with more pronounced citrusy fruitiness (grapefruit, lemon) in aroma and taste.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Grassy, piney, slightly citrusy hoppy aroma, pale malty and minimally wheaty background, hints of orange and quince. Taste is similarly piney and grassy hoppy, slightly citrusy, hints of orange.

Il gusto al naso riceve forti sensazioni di luppolo. L’intensità olfattiva è molto elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è considerevole. Il cappello di schiuma è persistente, a bollicine medie con carbonazione media. La consistenza del liquido è velata. La carbonazione è piatta. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato ma duttile. L’amaro è carico. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è godereccio. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo, lungo e complesso. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l’aroma ha i sentori di miele, frutta secca, resina, abete rosso e agrumi.

Bottle from Biernavigatie, large sample. Clear orange to amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit, bit bready malt, toffee. Medium citrussy bitterness, bit resiny and piney as well. Some biscuity malt. Bit thin in the finish, but overall quite tasty. Nice.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Hazy golden, little bubbles. Nose is sweetish yeasty grape, sweet grape juice. Taste is milky yeast & sweetish white grape, sugar, oily fruity hops. Oily & milky yeasty body. Expected more out of this one, too sweet & yeasty.

#1000 USA beer. Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Hazy orange, creamy off-white head. Nose is moldy plaster hops, dunk hops, plaster yeast. Taste is moldy peach & yeast, sugar, lightly buttery. Touch buttery body, meh. Possibly old or bad keg?

2012 version on tap at BPP. Lots of head and strong lacing. Aroma is full of an interesting spice-like character that seems to be a byproduct of aging. It’s coriander like. Flavor is mellower on that aspect, lightly astringent and some flavor loss from age. But shines amongst the duds in the pile.

Tap at Hoppy Loft, 4th February 16. Aroma pretty full, pine and citrus. Taste is bitter citrus, pine, full bodied. Enjoyed this one
