Geprobeerd op het Brabants Speciaalbier Festival in Oirschot met LiekevdV, Inoven, Roelzie en Benzai. Het is een troebel bruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van mout en caramel. De smaak is moutig, zacht, gebrand en caramel achtig.

Fles gekregen van Tomhendriksen; thuis gedronken. Troebel roodbruin bier met matig beige schuim dat lang blijft staan.
Licht kruidig aroma.
Smaak is zoet, (zoet-)houtig en kruidig.
Nasmaak is licht kruidig.
Het is een heerlijk zwaar bier maar ik haal de schrobbelér er niet uit.

Bleekgeel tot goudgeel helder bier met matig schuim.
Aroma van grapefruit en citroen .
Smaak is waterig en licht citrus-achtig.
Nasmaak is iets bitter.

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Pours clear gold, modest white cap. Aroma of glue.. flavour profile is yeasty sweet with barrel-aging bringing an unpleasant solventy touch that dominates.. a samples enough.

Sampled at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Amber to darker red color, off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, caramel-ish malty notes, liquor somewhat, boozy. Hmm not great tbh, sharp, unbalanced.

Something other than that typical wood aging flavor seems to be in there. Hard to describe. Overall though, not a bad quad imo. 8-7-7-7-7
