The nose reminded me of Dikta or whatever that Lychee liquer is called. The base is the wheat and this beer suprised me for its lack of sweetness and balance. Highly carbonated, but refreshing and well executed. Wouldn’t be back to order another, but a respectable brew.

Deep golden color. The nose reminded me of opening a bag of barley. Hops weren’t strong in nose. Some bitterness in back of mouth and a malty finish. Would do better with some extra hops added, but still pleasent.

Deep dark brown color. Fudge brownies with a hint of cherries erupts from the nose. Mouth is sour, but that worked well for the beer. Brownies just lingered in my mouth long after I finished the beer. Nice. Re-rate - not enough body. Not as good as two years ago

The standout of the Paddy’s lineup I thought. Med amber color. Soft hoppy nose with crystal malt really shining through with a touch of caramel. Well balanced mouth of apples and oranges, but not overly hopped. Mildly bitter finish. I like my ESBs more hoppy, but this was very true to the style. Definetely an English version, compared to American ESBs. Highly enjoyable.

Cascade is the definete hop, but the mouth had a slight plastic taste. Moderately bitter, but a fairly simple, light beer.

Draught at the brewpub. Black with beige head. Obvious licorice aroma. Very dry with plenty of spicy hops and rounded mouthfeel. Solid body and lingering eeally bitter finish. Another good beer from Paddy. The quality of the beers here really baffles me, as it’s not exactly a place that raises your expectations of the beer when you walk into it...

Draught at the brewpub. Very dark brown. None surprising chocolatey malt aroma. Medium sweet with notes of coffee, but the chocolate dominates. Velvetty finish. The soft mouthfeel really brings out the flavours.

Draught at the brewpub. Nut brown. Strong aroma of sage and nutmeg. Sweet and soft with full body. There’s lots of toffee, but the flavours from hop and malt are nearly overpowered by the spices. Low bitterness. A full flavoured beer on the sweet side.
