6.1/10 β€” Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6.5
On tap at Abbey Brewing, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops upfront, with biscuity malt and light floral notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Dry and piney. Not bad actually.

On tap at Abbey Brewing, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, with a bit of cocoa and booze. Flavour is very sweet, with cloyingly sweet liquorice notes, low roast and some cocoa. Dominated by the liquorice and cloying sweetness. Not good at all.

On tap at Abbey Brewing, pours an opaque murky dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of yeast, candied sugar, and dark dried fruits. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of Belgian yeast, candied sugar, toasted nuts, and dark fruits. Very yeast and not capturing the yeast profile all that well. It's okay.

6.8/10 β€” Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 7
At the source: pours murky brown. Aroma is a bit weird... burnt sort of... not as fruited and candied as most. Cherry and sugar are definitey mlre in the taste. Solid enough.
