Keg at Crescent Moon, 1/20/24. Omaha Trip #21. New brewery! Brewery # 2254, USA # 1851, Nebraska # 11. Clear copper, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, cherry, and something off--between cat hair and diacetyl. Toaste is toffee, caramel, cherry, diacetyl. Sad.

Draft/Fest. A- Corn. A- Gold color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Soapy, grains, corn, sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Like the tart cherry ale, I get none of the spruce or juniper mentioned here. Very basic tasting blonde with an unusually high abv. Drinkable but not exciting.

Draft/Fest. A- Butterscotch, sweet. A- Copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Caramel candies, sweet, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- More old school IPA and hardly hazy. This was odd, drinkable, but very unlikely the brew they intended it to be.

Draft/Fest. A- Corn. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Grains, faint tartness. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- No detectable cherry. Even the tartness is a stretch. I would argue there is nothing in this other that the necessary ingredients for a basic blonde. This was played way too safely and due to that it did not hit the mark.

Draft/Fest. A- Grains. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Grains, bland. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- A bit hazy and un-crisp for a kolsch. Not particularly great execution on this one.

Draft @ GABF 2013. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty buttery aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty buttery weak hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty buttery hoppy finish.
