Bomber thanks to the Boise crew. Pours a clear orange hue with a large white head. A big sweet sticky nose, clear citrus hops and sugary sweetness. The flavor is big sweet toffee and malty flavors, citrus, robust interesting tequila. Comes in like a sweet fruity sticky flavor. Very smooth. Lovely really. A bit of heat. I’m not sure the age of this but the malty sweet earthy base is huge, and good for it.

On tap at the Boise Ram. Hazy dark Amber, nearly brown. Modest fine light tan head. Moderate piney hoppy aromas and flavors some malty honey notes. A malty sweet ipa for the masses.

On cask at Washington Brewers Cask Festival, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Nose is light with coconut and candied sugar. Flavour is quite restrained, with subtle coconut and light candied sugar present. Pretty weak and muted - nice flavours, just missing something.

Firkin pour at alefort. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts chocolate coffee vanilla and some maple syrup sweetness. Taste is more of the nose dark roast barrel notes sweetness maple syrup bourbon and some coffee.

Served as Humperdinks Total Disaster Porter. Nonic pint draft at the Humperdinks in Dallas, Texas. The pour is an opaque brown black with a 1/2 inch well formed tan head. The aroma is sour malt, hint of roast and some vanilla sweet. The taste is iced coffee with milk, big shot of diacetyl as the beer warmed. The palate is medium to light bodied, low carbonation and the off flavors in the finish. Old school brewpub beer in all the wrong ways.

On tap at the Boise Brewery Light and pale Agreed More like a pale ale. A little juniper like at the end. Light and crisp and not bad.

Draft: Dark brown with a short tan head. Aroma is light.....minimal chocolate. Taste is watery, coffee-chocolate malts... A slight ashy bitter. Ok..forgettable.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a hazy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out stone fruits, almost a funky brett-like quality, and resinous hops. Flavour is really well-balanced, with stone fruits, some funk, and citrus hops. Quite fruity win a good balance of flavours, especially the unusual funk. Great stuff.

Draft - Sweet fruity stone fruit. Clearish gold with a rich white head. Tons of tropical fruit, nice balanced bitterness. Really fruity and sweet, but quite juicy. Nice.

Tap @ Meridian Ram. Brown pour with two fingers of creamy beige head. The nose is piney, sweet, and light roast. Taste is very similar. The roast is very modest and the piney hops retain the focus. There is a faint smoky bit. Enough of a yeast/lager malt difference I think I could pick this out of a group of Cascadian dark ales... maybe. Drinks well.
