22 oz bottle from Whole Foods Wine and Spirits in Boulder, 11/24/15. It pours a murky brownish-orange color with a frothy beige head and substantial lacing. Has that fruity Nelson Sauvin hop aroma and flavor over top of some spice, bretty funk, and a bit of pale malt. Really nice hop presence overall. Gets fairly dry on the close as well. A bit tingly feel-wise, with a funky, dry close.

Can from Whole Foods Wine and Spirits in Boulder, 11/23/15. Mostly clear orange color, leans darker. Has an off white head on it and some spotty lacing. Lemon pledge, some other fruity hops, and a bit of Belgian yeast / spice. Flavor is more towards the IPA-style hops than it is toward the yeast / Saison side of the beer, but that side comes through too. I didn't get too much of the brett, but otherwise, this is a good beer overall.

Bomber - marked as 7.2% abv - nose is initially sweet, with the dextrose addition fairly apparent, but then herbal hops, citrus, lemongrass, and pepper enter the equation, along with faint brett muskiness - somewhat creamy texture - low carbonation - as in the nose, the dextrose seems to add an unwelcome and intrusive sort of sweetness to it - other than that, though, there are some nice herbal and citric hop notes, tropical brett character, pepper - moderate to high bitterness on the tail end - it’s decent.

From the can... says 8.5%. Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving a solid sheet. Sweet butterscotch aromas. Thick with sweet butterscotch and hot caramel front to back and into the medium length finish. Closer to an English barleywine than a DIPA.

Draft at the source. Slightly hazy yellow color, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Nice aroma of meadow flowers, white pepper, dust. Taste is floral, light fruity esters, some dusty pepper, decent malt, dry finish. Very tasty. I like that it has a reasonable abv, well done.
