Pours unclear blonde, Small white head. Scent is oak-forward. Old lambic, funky, by age rather than brett. Taste is full, tart, bit to acetic for sute. Maple ha been fermented, leaving very little aroma. in the final aftertaste it does present itself mildly. i would have loved it to be less acetic acid though.

Vintage 2019 from bottle at Ammutons during Zwanze Day. Dark golden body, with a big, white head.
Lovely aroma of cheesy funk, citrus, wood, straw, light rum barrel. Tastes similar.
Medium mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, medium dry, funky, wooden, citric, with moderate barrel notes.
Very tasty! Funk, fruit and the rum barrel in perfect harmony. The rum barrel gets more prominent as the beer warms up, leading to even more complexity.

Bottle. Pours cloudy plum, small off white head, some lacing. Aroma is funk, stonefruit, oak, nail polish remover. Flavor is very acidic, acetone coated stonefruit dipped in lemon juice. Medium body. Why do people like this?

Very nice smell. full body, bubbly carbonation. tastes elderflowers, citric, salty, herbal, white pepper, parfumy, fragrant. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of elderflowers, citrus and white pepper notes. Very nice one, lovely balance, super smooth to drink

Deep Red hazy color, small white head. smells berry notes, jammy, light Joghurt, very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes berry notes, spices, heavy, cherry skins, Marzipan. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of cherries, berries and Marzipan. Nice one, a bit on the heavy side somehow, good but a tad too heavy for me

Hazy dark red, thin, off-white head. Aroma of musty red grape, damp cellar, earth, overripe nectarine, banana, cherry pit. Taste has very sour nectarine, cherry and raspberry in a light almondy malt body. Funky & tart finish of lactic acid and grape skins. Medium body, moussy texture, soft carbonation. Interesting side-by-side tasting, I'd say the Blue Label has a more 'noble' character.
