Enjoyed on tap at Route 2, Monroe. Clean, clear, shiny golden appearance. Oily fizz head. Dark and resinous hop constant. Lots of bold and butter hops in this west coast bomb. Nice to see! Overall a refreshing borderline imperial with an appropriate amount of bite. Dank, aggressive, and flavorful. Solid IPA here.

Pint can from Brewer’s Haven. Dark brown pour with a nice tan head. Aroma is rich with roasted malts and light coffee. Really nice balance of roast, coffee, hazelnut… super smooth. Flavorful, but far from overdone. Very sessionable.

On tap at Chuck's Greenwood, pours a musty dark musty reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma has some serious red wine barrel character upfront, with loads of tannins, and subdued Belgian yeast. Flavour is dominated by the complex red wine barrels, which impart an elegant depth to them. Woody, tannic, vinous. Lovely.

16oz can from Homebrewstuff. Mahogany pour, a few wispy patches of head and thin ring. Sweet malty aroma, prunes, raisins, tobacco. Taste is sweet, prune juice, malty, woody. Subliminal strength.

On tap at E9 Tasting Room, pours a clear bright ruby red with a small pink head. Nose is complex, with lots of mixed bugs, pretty intense raspberries and blackberries, and some wood. Flavour is fruity and wild, with a great tart berry character, lots of mixed bugs, and light oak. Wonderful harmony between the fruit and bugs. Excellent.

On tap at E9 Tasting Room, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with fresh vanilla, with a sturdy toasted malt base. Flavour is a vanilla bomb but without any artificial extract character. Lots of vanilla beans and toasted malt marry together. Very good.

On tap at E9 Tasting Room, pours a clear dark amber / chestnut light brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is rather estery, with gentle bubblegum, toasted nuts, and some red fruits. Flavour isn't exactly authentic but at least isn't a sweet estery bomb; there's red fruits, toasted nuts and bready malt. Decent expression of the Belgian yeast. Good but not an expert dubbel.

On tap at E9 Tasting Room, pours a clear dull blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, some earthiness, and bready malt. Flavour is oily and dank, with lots of resinous hops, pot-like hop oils, and just enough sweetness from the hop oils. Dank and oily mouthfeel with good balance. Very nice.
