[notes] Poured from bottle @ FHF 2023 (Aug 12, 2023). Hazy gold with small white head. Funk, stone fruit, very nice. (8/4/8/4/16=4.0) Aug 26, 2024 (7/4/8/3/15=3.7): Poured from 500mL bottle (batch 2). Clear-ish gold with minimal white head. Mild tartness, oak, clean saison yeast. Decent, but not a ton of depth.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has a nice, gentle piney and resinous hop character upfront in good west coast fashion, with a crisp bready malt base. Flavour is fairly restrained, with gentle resinous hops, a touch of grass, and bready malt base. Clean and fairly drinkable. I'll always want more hops, but this is decent.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear copper with a tiny white head. Aroma has some bready malt, not much else — smells pretty muffled. Flavour is fairly dry, with a bready malt base, a touch of fruitiness, with very low bitterness. Doesn't strike me as even close to a English bitter, just a slightly fruity, somewhat malty ale of some sort. Odd.

Bottle pour at FHF 2024, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is rather muted, with gentle gin barrel presence, a tick of celery, and some seaweedy notes. Flavour is not particularly expressive on the gin or seabuckthorn; there's tart white fruits, plenty of acidity, and a bit of celery. Cohesive and rather light, with an acidic finish.
