Pale dull amber. No head. Lots of raspberry, leans to acetic notes, lactic, fairly sharp. Fermentation is not as clean as many of these have been. But the berry is bright.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours a clear amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, a hint of caramel, and gentle caramel malt. Flavour is a bit thin for the style, with gentle roast, earthy hops, and bitterness on the finish. Too thin but reasonably balanced. Good.

Shared with Josh during our trip to Festival of Dark Arts 2026.
Aroma: fermented raspberries, oak.
Taste: along the same lines, moderately acidic, plenty of raspberries, just a bit of acetone maybe.
Overall: enjoyable in a small volume.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: good orange color with some transparency along the sides and a nice finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: raspberry tart and sweet and sour meshes with some funk and earthy vibes, underscore of barrel/woody quality
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together semi-sweet with an ample tart and sour quality; light finish of the raspberry tartness
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper! tartness does stab at the tongue as I expected it to but still seemed appropriate at the level where the tartness was
Overall: another nicely done fruited sour ale I would have again by these guys.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: dark orange to copper color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate then leave some light lace
Aroma: peachy flesh and skin, apricot flesh and skin, semi-tart with a touch of sour underscored by a sly sweet tone; sweet grassy hops further underneath
Flavor: moderates a slight gentle blend between the sweet to sour to tart of the peaches and apricots; light finish of the peachy and apricot blend
Texture: between light and medium bodied, surely a sipper; some tart harshness is invasive to the tongue
Overall: I'd say a pretty nicely sour/wild fruited ale, I'd have again.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: amber/orange to pink color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off nicely at a fair pace to leave some lace.
Aroma: sweet to tart cherries, earthy funk, grassy & lemony hop tones, mild vinous scents
Flavor: brings the prior noted aromas together - semi funky to tart sweet and an underlying citrusy hop tone; finishes semi-funky sweet with the cherries
Texture: medium bodied, surely a sipper, tart and sour features prevent this beer from being anywhere close to being watery, yes, some sour & tart harshness is there
Overall: nicely done cherry forward sour ale worthy of coming back to.

Purple, thin head, tart, very juicy, lots of berry and the sweetness works well with the slightly sharp base.

2024. Amber-brown colour, and no head. The aroma has a bit of bourbon and some light fruitiness. This has a lot of bitterness, and crystal malt. Gets a bit chewy, but there's toffee sweetness behind that. Then, a light bourbon character. Solid, though unspectacular, just more of an easy-drinking English bw.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 12/04/2024). Clear chestnut brown with minimal beige head. Toffee malt, underlying bittering hops, barrel character is extremely feint. Okay.

On tap at Holy Mountain - Phinney, pours a hazed bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma has a bright gooseberry character, with tangy hops, light pine, and a touch of melon. Flavour is bright, with lots of tangy hops, gooseberry, some dankness, and bitter pine. Wonderful hop expression, finishing tangy and nicely bitter. Excellent.
