FHF 2024. Appearance: almost clear golden with a white head. Aroma: creaminess from oak, some tartness, bugs. Taste: along the same lines, nice bugs and rustic notes. Overall: good one.

Draft pour at E9, Fawcett Ave. Fun and unique sour. Shiny golden appearance. Patchy head. Acidic front, tart orange fruit and berries throughout. Quite sour, but a layer of funk as well. Soft salt pairs with the tart berry note well. Sourness 8/10. Very enjoyable when in the mood for something a little different.

On tap at RidgeWood, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has some earthy rhubarb, light berry fruitiness, and a touch of bugs. Flavour is tart, earthy and fruity, with lots of tart rhubarb berry pie and some subdued farmhouse character underneath. Decent expression of the rhubarb, but it's on the acid-tart side and doesn't have a great wild yeast expression. It's fine.

Green apples oranges tart dry not amazing depth but good enough slightly above average for the style

Can. Pours a orange hue with a medium white head. A big sweet citrus nose. Pungent fruit. Fairly sweet tropical notes, pineapples, orange. Smooth.

Pale, slight haze. Aroma is quite toasty. On the palate, soft, just slightly toasty, vague brett note, still a fair bit of residual sugar. Interesting experiment at least.

Flight at The Magnet. Pours clear gold. Not picking up much on the aroma. Flavour is quite juicy, some peach/nectarine, with a bit of sourness. It's okay.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a hazy bright golden blonde with a small white bead. Aroma reveals the juicy peach upfront and nectarines to a lesser extent, followed by some mixed bugs. Flavour is moderately fruity, with gently tart, somewhat juicy stone fruits, along with a decent mixed bug character, a bit of cheerios (THP) though, and toasted grains. Other than the THP, this isn't too bad, but doesn't seem dialed in exactly right.

On tap at Chuck's CD, pours a minimally hazy golden with a tiny white head. Aroma is full of apricot and peach upfront, with moderate tartness, some wildness, and a touch of oak. Flavour is loaded with acidic apricots and peaches upfront and dominating, followed by wild yeast and oak in reasonable cohesion. Nice incorporation of the stone fruit without it becoming too acidic. Very good.
