Golden to copper topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is raw pineapple, funk, herb, hedgerow, light acidic nostril pinch.
Taste comprises tarte tropical fruits, acidic bimble, damp hay, vinous, lactic tang.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering edge.
Okay sour.

Bottle thanks to Chris the King of Anchorage: Poured a coppery with a bubble head. Aroma is pungent, grains, pineapple, coconut. Taste is tangy, sourish, coconut, pineapple, balance of acidic and tart.

(Tap) clear, bright, very dark brown color with a small beige head; aroma of molasses, toffee; balanced flavor with a long, medium strong bitter sweet finish

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 20/08/24. Hazed reddish orange pour with a faded crimson cap that veers to the edge. Nose is tangy berries, hay bale, light yeast, straw, mixed berry compote, blackcurrant tang. Taste comprises mellow funk, farmyard, blackcurrant yoghurt, modest yeast, herb, light acidic bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a soured close. Solid stuff.

Bottle thanks to the King: Poured orange translucent with whispery head. Aroma is tart, black currant, pungent. Taste is tangy, tart, fruity, black currant.

Bottle from Alaska: pours dark brown with beige head. Dark fruit, molasses. Taste is dry bitterness, sweetish. Not bad. Pretty mellow.

Bottle, shared by mansquito. Pours black. Liquorice, plum, chocolate, biscuit, prune. Medium body. Decent.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma isn't particularly complex, but features bourbon, dark sugars and some muddiness from the kveik yeast — why put this yeast in a BA impie (or anything, really)? Flavour is soft and sweet, with gentle bourbon, sugars and a little caramel. Surprisingly thin-bodied, with not much complexity. But it does have a reasonably deep maltiness and a nice residual sugar character. Pleasant but far from a refined impie stout.

On tap at Turnagain, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle balsamic, red fruits, and a touch of oak. Flavour is sweet and sour, with balsamic, red fruits, light tartness, and Worcestershire sauce. Too sweet, not enough oak, nor vinous character. It's not bad but this needs some work.

On tap at Turnagain, pours an opaque orange — looks like pulpy orange juice — no head. Aroma is like juice, with intense mango and passionfruit, and some sweet lactose. Flavour is extremely sweet and juicy, with lots of mango and passionfruit, lactose, and a hint of tartness. Unsophisticated juice beer.
